I have an audition next weekend, help!!?

hey, i'm auditioning for "Babes in Toyland" next weekend at my local community theatre and i don't know what song i should audition with and what part to audtion for. I don't know much about the show so i don't even know what part i want. i'm 15 and can sing soprano and alto. so if you guys could tell me what song i should use for the audition and what part to audition for that would be great, thanks :)

  1. castle on a cloud from les miserables. look it up on Youtube and find a video. it is such a beautiful song and is a great audition song!


  2. I don't know anything about the play "Babes in Toyland" but I know how to help you for your audition. The director will probably want you to sing a 1 minute portion of a more upbeat Broadway song. Since Babes in Toyland is a more "classic" musical, I recommend singing from a musical that isn't quite as modern. NO Wicked or Rent or Legally Blonde. Make sure it fits your range and be confident! Hope I helped.
