I have an awful headache, what should i do?

It's on the left side of my head and it's a piercing pain. Almost like needles poking me inside the head. What should I do? (i can't go to the doc currently)

i get these all the time. you should always drink water! that's the number one thing. and if you get motion sickness from a roller coaster you should take ginger capsule pills they really work.

I get these too. My friends often say it's migraine.

I take pain killers.

Dear I suggest you turn away from your PC for a while and take a rest. :)

i would take some kind of medication and try to rest. if it doesnt go away by tomorrow, then try to get a doctor

probably let your eyes rest...like away from the monitor.

drink a glass of water and take some aspirin, then lie down.  

and hope for the best.

The first thing might be to take a break from looking at the computer screen.  Also, a cool cloth on your head while closing your eyes might help.

Drink a large glass of water and then lay down with an ice pck at the base of your neck, this reduces the blood flow and the throbbing
