I have an big indent in my chest and people think, Wierd! and puts them off.?

Is it normal? Iv had it for ages and i hate it.

  1. By a "big indent", do you mean that it looks like your ribs are inverted (ie: go the "wrong way")?  Have you had this since you were born?  If so, you could have pectus excavatum... basically, it's just a concave chest.  

    There is surgery to treat this, which involves breaking your ribs and putting bars in your chest to "pop" the chest cavity back up.... it's unnecissary and pretty much just for cosmetic purposes, unless you find that you are having trouble breathing (a big issue that people find with pectus excavatum is that they feel as though they "can't get enough breath").
