I have an ear-bug but can't figure out the song.. The song came from a church musical ?

only lyrics I can remember are " Just as a deer runs to water,so does my soul to you father"..... OH any help or ideas.. (and it's not "as the deer panteth for ....)

Those lyrics you mention are from Psalm 42 (I think) or 52..... (Except I've heard that psalm as "pants for water" rather than "runs to." ) But they are used in this song, though they may be used in many Christian songs since it is a psalm rather than modern-day original lyrics.
