I got the TPEG and FSEOG grant last year and my efc was 0 but I guess since my pay increased over the year it went up a little. I was wondering do I still qualify. I handed my fasfa in at march 10th

  1. FSEOG funds are distributed to each school by the US Department of Education. The school is then responsible for making its own decisions about allocating those funds to each student.

The rule is that each school must first award available FSEOG funds to those students with the lowest EFC scores, beginning with those who are qualified for Pell Grant assistance. This is known as the "FSEOG First Selection Group".

If you met your school's priority financial aid deadline, your EFC of 143 (which still qualifies you for a Pell Grant) SHOULD qualify you for an FSEOG grant again this year, as well. The only thing that might prevent you from receiving FSEOG assistance would be if there were a tremendous number of students at your school with lower EFC scores.

I hope that helps - good luck!
