Question:

I have an electric dryer, only a year old. It still runs, but doesn't get as hot or dry things-ideas?

It takes forever to dry anything. I have cleaned all the vents and secured the connections-and I'm too broke to call a repairman right now!

  1. it might be your washing machine try spinning twice and than put in dryer when a washer get older it does not spin out the water like it was new

  3. It may be as simple as washing out the lint screen with soapy water and a soft brush.

  4. Try removing the vent for 15-20 minutes and see if it dies not work better, this sounds like a venting problem, sometimes there is a screen on the roof vent if it goes there. Remove that screen, try a electric leaf blower in the vent too.
