The motor runs after a chanrge, but not with enough force to propel a person, only if you lift it off the ground, which tells me a weak battery, but before I go out and buy a new 12v 20ah rechargeable battery, I noticed that the scooter dies out after about 10 minutes. No charging lights on, no nothing. Is that also a battery related issue in your opinion, or would that indicate something more serious with the electrical workings? Is it worth it to replace the batteries in these things or am I better off ripping the guts out of it and having a foot pedaled scooter?

  1. batterys are 64$ on the web, that seems way cheap.

for that price you shouldnt go wrong if its a battery problem. Take your battery to pep boys or auto zone, they will test for free, if thats the only problem its prob worth it, if the batterys good then you might have a motor problem which could cost alot more.

  2. I'd say that is cause by the failing battery, rather than something else. When you plug in the charger, does that make the indicator work?

I'd say you need to get a new battery, so you can save money on gas.

  3. It's well worth fixing.  You don't have much to lose.  Get a geek or a nerd to fix it for you..
