I have an electric typewriter, purchased in 1994, that NO ONE WANTS! Not even Goodwill. I don't want to send

it to the landfill if I can help it. Is there anything I can do with it so it doesn't become more garbage? Thanks!

You can sell anything on Ebay!

Try Freecycle.org.  There might be a group in your area.  It's a great way to give things away and get things that you might need, for free!  And keep things out of the landfills, of course!  Or you could also try to sell it on Ebay.  You never know.  It might be just what someone is looking for.

you could throw it in a ditch on the side of the road, a ditch is not a landfil.

call or take it to a local computer recycling place. The same place where you would take old printers, monitors, etc.

Take it to a pawnshop, or sell it on eBay-or you could take it to a flea market, I'm sure there is someone out there that would like to have it

any salvage yard that takes old appliances will take it.

Try ebay or a pawn shop. There are also alot of companies that will buy it or take it for recycling. Try google recycling companies and call around.

you can put an ad on craig's list for free, offer it for cheap or free, someone will come and get it!  I still use a typewriter at work!  Thanks for not just putting it in the trash, I hate to see usable objects go in the trash!!
