I have an emachine model

I have an emachine model 3220. The bestec atx power supply has a part rattling round in it. Is it worth me buying a new power supply and if so other than bestec (as I have read bad reports on this item) what should I buy? I have no power at all to my computer. Will it have blown my mother board?
