Figure out your brand loyalty.

Get some paper, and make charts (on your computer would be easier).  The charts should have columns such as product type, company name, price, evaluation, rebuy?, etc.  Every time you use a product (it can be anything - food products, beer, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.), write your evaluation about it (keep it short) and decide if you'd use the product again or not.  After doing this for a while, you'll have a list of the brands which you'll become loyal to.  This way, you can be a smarter consumer and figure out your likes and dislikes for everything.
