I had an exchagne student from Afghanistan and he went back one week ago. Before going he told me that he does'nt want to go because his life will be in danger over there. Because some unknown people has threatened his family that they will harm his son and also his house back in afghanistan was attacked once because of this situation. I am realyl worried about him. What should I dio?

  1. Pray for him.

  2. I think Afghanistan is a h**l hole. I would not want to go back either.

All you can do is hope that the religious zealots (Taliban) and other rogues do not harm him.

If I were him though, I would be out of that country as quickly as possible.

  3. I don't know if you can do anything.  Their family could become refugees and come over to America but I think that is all they can do.  I think you should hope that he survives and lives a long happy life.  If his family gets killed you could offer to adopt him and keep him in your home.

  4. If he's already left, there really isn't much you can do, except hope for the best.
