the port is in the back and the speaker is in the front. Id like to know which way to setup the speaker. Do i want to give the port room to breathe and aim it into space. Or do i want to sit it on the port to restrict air flow? Or aim it toward the wall so it can breathe a little but not alot?

also, does it matter if i put it behind th edriver or passenger seat?

If i put it behind the passenger side, do i want the porthole to aim towards the driver or away? thank you?

  1. the general rule of thumb for a ported enclosure is that whatever the diameter of the port is, is how much unblocked space you need around the port...make sense?

  2. do not block the port. thats the whole reason they put the ports in there so the subs would perform at there best. if you face the port back you wont hear any port noise.
