antibiotic stuff that is like gel, I have to work on Tuesday and i am afraid i wont be able to drive to work because of the sensitivity to light, can i use red relieving soothing eyedrops or something while im using the antibiotic? and also will the antibiotic effect my birth control?

  1. sounds like you have pink eye which is very contagious. you shouldn't be going to work with it. and , no... it wont interfere with your birth control.


  2. I've used that stuff before. I wouldn't use another type of eye drop at the same time - red relieving drops don't actually help with what's wrong with your eyes anyway. Just wear sunglasses on your way to work.  Antibiotics in general affect your birth control, so I would probably use a backup method to be safe, but I bet that since the gel is applied directly to your eyes, it's less likely to go through your whole system and affect your birth control.
