I have had a persisting eye infection for about a month and I only have it on weekends when I come home from school. I wear contacts and recently started taking them out every night to try and prevent it from coming back. The first couple times there was no puss and this time there was. I have been using pink eye medication/ eye infection medication for it, but it still comes back every weekend. Please help me!

  1. go to your doctor soon. it could be very serious, especially if you wear contacts. don't wear them until you do see your doctor and ask them what they think! ~ hope your okay=]

  2. Don't wear your contacts and go to the doctor and stop taking your pinkeye meds.  1.  You should not EVER be sleeping with contacts, even if they are ones you are supposed to be able to sleep in. When you wake up and your contact is stuck to your eye, it is going to HURT.  2.  The pinkeye medicine has steroids in it -- because you're not using it correctly it's probably hurting you more than helping.  3.  Because you have something going on, if you put a contact overtop it's just going to irritate it more AND gunk up your contacts in the process.

    Go to the doctor.

  3. Always take your contacts out before you go to bed. Sleeping in them is not a good idea. And if you are still using the same contacts they probably carry whatever infection you have and you are just reinfecting your eye whenever you put them in.

    Go to an eye doc!
