Sorry to be flip, but if you don't know how to do laundry, IMO, you're not ready for dating.  I suggest reading the manual for your washer, and if you can't find it, google the brand name and model of your washer + "manual" to find the manual online.

hello... i think, my source will help you a lot... its like a step-by-step process on how to do the laundry...

Step 1:

one of the smallest, almost trivial things that makes doing the laundry longer than it should be is lack of preparation. Some of us lack preparation in almost everything we do. from doing homework to making dinner to doing the laundry. A small amount of preparation time can pay off in the long run.

Separate the clothes to be hand washed from those to be machine washed. Then, if necessary, separate colored clothes from the white ones. This shouldn’t take too much time and it helps a great deal by the time you’re doing the laundry as you won’t end up missing any clothes, and you won’t have to spend time bleaching your whites later because a red sock dyed them pink.

Start by sorting your clothes-colored, whites and dark colors. Then to determine the water temp. light colors are warm, dark colors are cold, whites are hot.  If the load is only 2-5 items it is a small load, if the machine is 1/2 full it is a medium load, if you reach the bottom of the k**b or the fabric softener cup on the agitator-the thing in the middle of the washer that makes the clothes move back and forth to clean them-it is large.

The detergent will Suds a lot if you add too much detergent.  If it is a liquid concentrate there is usually a line in the cap on the top of the bottle-use to that line if it is a large load, medium use half as much and small use 1/4 as much as you would for a large load.

There is usually a k**b on the top of the washer with numbers around it. This determines how long the machine will run. Most of the machines like that you must push or pull the k**b to start the water.

Just select the amount of time you want to wash-10-15 min for each load is usually enough. It will run its course on its own.  When it has stopped spinning after the rinse, the load is finished.

Take out your clothes and put them in an empty dryer.  Check the lint filter-sometimes it is in the front of the inside of the dryer, sometimes on the back top of the dryer under the timer button-if it has lint clean it off and put it in the trash. Be sure to clean the filter each time, because it can cause the dryer to catch on fire.  

For whites and light weight clothes set the dryer timer for 20-30 min.

For jeans and towels 40-60 minutes.

As for drying, throw 'em in there with a dryer sheet and keep checking on them.

well u wash by olors if its pure whit put it in there with a littlt soap and bleach and put it on small but if its colors just add soap NO BLEACH
