  1. Well, im back, nice to hear from you again.

    Steps:

    I. Upload  vcam video files  to pc

    - connect hdd vcam to pc via USB

    - open file mgmt- windows explorer (start/all programs)

    - vcam would appear as a removable drive X

    - drag & drop mpeg2 files to pc folder (myVideos?)

II. Convert mpeg2 file to .avi or .wmv (as **mpeg2 is not supported by XPwmmaker2

    - download super or prism video converter (google it)

    - convert mpeg2 file to .avi or .wmv **

    III. Video  Editing  Process

for starters, free Windows Movie Maker (XP-wmm2 & Vista-wmm6) provides simple & easy way to learn the ropes < click help for details>. Venture into other video editing app ( http://video-editing-software-review.top... ) accdg. to need & skill level.

(**Note: if video file is not supported, import vcam files separately via win explorer- Hdd (USB connect vcam to pc); DvD (pc reader); Flash Media (card reader) & convert- try Prism, Super, Windows media encoder, etc.). * If on Vista wmm6, mpeg2 might be supported, import directly, no need to convert.

    Steps:

......Open wmm2, set to TASK pane

    CAPTURE/IMPORT FILES:  from pc folder

    - Import converted video files** to wmm/COLLECTION

    - Import other files: pics, music, narration (if desired)

    EDIT MOVIE:  create project- movie

    - Drag&drop video files from collection to TIMELINE chart below at the desired sequence

    - Enhance video: drag&drop music, effects, transition, filter; create titles…re-edit as you wish

    FINISH MOVIE: render muvee file

    - Render/Save MUVEE to pc and/ or share- CD; Save project file (work-in-progress) for future edits.

    Finally, SHARE:

    - Burn to DVD***   (wmm2 only on CD)

*** Most video editing app include DVD authoring, otherwise, use DVD authoring programs, e.g.,  WinDVD, Nero, etc.
