I have an interesting question, people keep saying it is no ones business regarding the Edwards affair.

However, if the Feds suspect he broke the law and gave this gold digger campaign contributions doesn't it become a matter of public opinion and scrutiny in addition, won't she and he both be forced to submit to a DNA? Just curious reading all the other posts.........

Here we go again! People minding someone else's business! What a nosey species we are!!  If having an affair, is a PUBLIC crime, half the country would be up for prosecution!! The only people who have anything to say about Edwards having a fling, is HIM and his family!! Same thing goes for Hillary and Bill! I just don't understand what all the big fuss is about! If you want to tear someones reputation up - start with yourselves before casting that first stone!! Look at Mc Cain! he's no angel either! And what kind of dirt are they going to drag up on Obama! Heh! we are all human and ALL have weak wills when it comes to the opposite s*x!! And as far as that DNA, THAT was on the Media already!  Where has all our privacy and freedom gone??

Nothing has been said about that to my knowledge.And he should submit to dna test to be sure it is or is not his child,like any other man in America.

if he gave her money bring that to light not the whole sordid affair i don't believe Any ones(not republican democrat or whatever) marriage should be subject to public scrutiny

I agree with the 1st answer. He should have to step up like any other man should. Any one who fathers a child should at least have to support it.

Also yes, if he gave her campaign contributions and not his own personal money, then yes it would be a matter of public opinion.

The above people are very un informed.  Edwards does want the DNA test to prove it's not his baby.  She is still madly in love with him and I think just wants the publicity.  There is another guy she was also playing around with that claims it's his baby.  So why would'nt she want to have a DNA test done???Maybe because she is not sure who the father is.
