  1. Well a few  routing questions they normally ask at interviews are: Why do you think we should hire you, why do you want to work here, tell me about yourself, if a customer was to be rude and cuss at you, how would you react and what would you do or say? If you were working on soemthing that you had a deadline for and the manager came and asked you to do soemthing else for them, what would you do?

    GOOD LUCK!!!

  2. The recruiter might interview you alone or in a group setting.  Both are a little intimidating.  I remember one interview I had when the recruiter took me and the group to a coffee shop.

She asked us very open-ended questions like "What is the most daring thing you've ever done?" and "In three words, how would you characterize this brand?" and "Tell me once instance when you took on a leadership role."  So you see, the questions won't always be job-specific.

I remember another group interview when everyone spoke up whenever they felt like it.  In yet another interview, everyone had to take turns to speak.  It all depends on the recruiter, and you have to be able to adapt to the situation.

Here's a cool tip: prepare a few simple stories to tell for the more open-ended questions.  Each story should demonstrate a strength you listed on your resume, and reinforces what you wrote on paper to the recruiter.

  3. it depends on what position you are applying for. general questions are like, why do you want this job/position, do you like working with the public, how well do you handle stress, where have you worked previously like babysitting jobs etc. if you are doing cashier work they may ask you a few math questions.  good luck!
