  1. I use to work at a bank. The guys always wore slacks and a nice shirt. The shirt could be a button up or a polo style, tucked in with a belt. Nice casual dress shoes, no tennis shoes.

You don't have to wear a tie.

Also, research the banks history. They may ask you questions about what you know about them.

Write down any questions you may have for them. Don't ask about pay until you have been offered the job. If you ask too soon, they think your only their for the money (who isn't) but that's not the impression you want to give them.

Bring an extra copy of your resume and references just in case.

No earrings, if you have a tat, cover it, and make sure your hair is neatly combed. Check your teeth in the mirror of your car before getting out (don't want an embarrassing moment).

    Good luck!

  2. The existing responses are good, but banks are more formal than other venues.  For the interview, a tie or jacket would not be out of order even though it might not be required attire once you're hired.

  3. dress pants (like black, navy or beige )with a nice matching button up long or short sleve shirt, no tie, dont button up the every top button shirt, tuck in shirt and put on a matching belt and nice shoes.

    Good luck! ;)

  4. Unless you walk in wearing a tux you won't be overdressed. A pressed white dress shirt with conservative tie and dark (blue or black) dress slacks. Make sure your hair is trimmed, nails clean, no tattoos showing, nice dress shoes. I can't tell you how many times I've interviewed people who would come into my office dressed sloppy and clothes wrinkled. Needless to say they didn't get the job. Remember, always dress to impress - you only have one shot to make an impression on an interviewer or potential boss.
