I have pain in the tendon just below the toes on my upper foot. An Xray showed no fracture but it hurts when I walk. Pain killers have no effect. There is no pain or swelling on the ball of my foot. Any suggestions as to the cause and cure?

  2. Keep it elevated and ice for 20 minutes then take the ice off for 20 minutes and keep repeating. it helps most people.

  3. Could be wearing heels. Try stopping them for a few days and see if this helps. If it is heels you should wear the cushioned insole especially for heels. I would actually get some now as it may help the pain.

  4. it normally is because of your shoes. just get new shoes and to make sure nothing gets injured get a golf ball and roll your foot on it.
