I have an ipod nano. when i hook it up to my computer, the screen stays black. i can barely see on the screen

do not disconnect. i have no choice but to disconnect because it isnt doing anything. whats wrong?

  4. When you disconnect, are you able to adjust the screen's brightness?  

    Update: Try resetting your iPod which can be the resolve:  http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_r...  .  Follow the instructions here, but researching the problem, this seems to be a common occurrence.  If his doesn't fix it, you may have to take it to a shop to get it replaced.

  5. Yeah it says that until you start up the thing were u see the songs and stuff. And after it you have to click the Eject this device safely button.
