I have an ipod touch, and was wondering if there was any harm to cleaning ipod screen with liquids

I had put a screen protector on and felt a little bit of glue residue, so i applied some nail polish remover in very small amounts and then washed it off. (This was once). About 5 times I used a product called iClean, which is specifically used for mac products, even ipods. Are there any negative effects on the screen, or the ipod itself to using these liquids?

I just use a bit of water on a microfiber cloth to clean my ipod touch screen I never had problem with it

nail polish remover usually is bad for it because it messed up my friends ipod touch
