a better ripping program is go to google and type in magic dvd ripper click the first result and inside you can download a trial version that lets you ripp movies to ipod form it only gives you 5 free rips before it refuses to open and asks for money

try deleting the video and putting it back on your ipod, there may have just been a small glitch while putting the movie on the ipod.
