you dont need a visa. its a different country/jurisdiction but that doesnt matter. there is some kind of agreement between the RoI and UK that means you can travel between the two countrys unrestrictred.

No, you wont need a visa to visit Northern Ireland by rail, theyre are no border controls,hope you enjoy your day.

Yes you will need a visa because Northern Island is part of Great Britian not Republic of Ireland. Your Irish visa is for the Republic of Ireland only.
