I have a computer that I need to connect just the monitor to my tv, but my tv's in outlets are full. I have an xbox in one and a dvd/vcr combo in the other. When I plug in the s-video it takes up one of the rca outlets. I order to use all three of them I have to keep pulling out my entertainment system to plug and unplug my computer monitor. I know there must be a device to add another rca but the only things I can think of are expensive. Any cheap ideas?

  1. Extension Plug Strips they have surge protection and range anywhere from 2.50 to 15 dollars but are usually cheap and can be found at almost any store the one you need would probably be less then 5 dollars

  2. There is a small box that you can get that will split up the input.  I can't remember what it's called.  Any local electronics section of a store or electronics stores should carry them.  I'd say they might run about $20.

  3. What is expensive?  there is a switch you can buy that has about 4 RCA sections on it that will allow you to run the switch to the TV and 4 other RCA capable devices to the switch.  On the fron there is 4 switches that allow you to toggle between the 4; about $20-$30.
