I have an izuzu trooper 3.1 turbo diesel on a 95 plate can i run it on veg oil without convertion?

As long as you mix diesel with the veg oil it should be ok   about 5-1 mix should do it

Yes, no problem - I always use svo (clean oil), any will do, but rapeseed is generally the cheapest & usually thought to be the best.

Try a 50/50 mix with diesel, you can run more, but you'll need to reduce the amount of svo as the weather gets colder, as it thickens up a bit without a preheater.

You'll get a bit more smoke on startup, a nice smell, and a bit more power.

You DON'T need any mods, filters, adjustments, etc.

yes i run my rover 200 td on svo with no convertion what so ever, i would never go back to running it on diesel, when rudolf diesel created the diesel engine it was actually made to run on peanut oil, we are using the fossil fuels from under the sea, i use 100% svo ( straight vegetable oil) and a small amount of white spirits, this thins the oil down, you must use white spirits if your gonna run your motor on 100% vo, otherwise you will try to start your motor on a cold morning and realise the vo has thickend up in the tank and wont start, i mix 3ml of white spirits in to every 100ml of vo, it works a treat i have noticed my car responds better and is alot more quiet, vo will NOT harm your engine, i get my vo from makro i buy it in bulk so i get more for my money, yesterday i bought two 20 liter drums £17.75 each £35.50 for both (just under 89p per liter) better than paying £1.20 per liter of diesel, i have saved £12.50 just there on a fuel that is cheaper, gives more mpg, gives your motor more response, and better for the environment, have a look at www.youtube.com and type in top gear vegetable oil, see for your self it works a treat.
