I have an office dilemma. I'm very new at this company and I have been training with a "head" person there.

Question

Although he has been doing his "job", I do not consider him friendly or considerate or even nice in any sense of the word. He's leaving the company soon and the organizer of a farewell party has asked everyone to contribute cash in buying him a gift. Must I pitch in???
