  1. I am assuming that since your nationality is Iranian that you have a passport from Iran. Your desire to not stay in the United States may raise questions as to why you came to the United States in the first place. In this time Iranian nationals are flagged because of diplomatic tensions betwen the US and Iran and if you were going from the US to Canada to Australia or from Canada to the US to Australia it  raises concerns as what your true motavation is. No easy answer when diplomatic issues are concerned in a time that the US has labeled Iran as a terrorist state and Iranian nationals may be seen as sympathic with the terrorists.

  2. Who cancelled your B1/B2 visa.

If you had a valid visa you could have travelled.

There wouldn't be any objection to your entry into USA,

Canadian High Commission or Embassy has a right to cancel your B1/B2 visa in consultation with US Consular office.

You can make an appeal to the US consulate explaining the

situation.  Issue of a visa to you is subject to the discretion

of the consulate.  It is not mandatory that they should issue a visa.

If your passport shows rejection of Canadian Visa and also

the cancellation of B1/B2 visa, it may be difficult for you get

    into other countries too.

Better surrender your passport and get a new one.

Please note that the US consulate will have records about

you.as well as the Canadian consulate.

  3. I have a H1B - Cancelled Without Prejudice. It was due to a H1 Transfer. I have my new H1B recently valid up to Feb 2010. I had no prb in stamping. I have experiences in Visa stamping from Mumbai and Chennai.

    Cases : BEP and Regular

Never faced any prb with Stamping any time.

No issues with US consulate or Ports.

Why was your B visa cancelled ? I dont think that rejection has anything to do with the cancelled stamp, unless you were deported or cancelled due to missuse or overstay.

Even if you surrender your passport, it wont help, ofcourse your previous records are available at any moment.

Changing the passport does not help.  :)

They might fear that by entering Canada on Student visa you might enter US for working, which happens a lot of times ;)

  4. "With Prejudice" would mean there was a problem - "Without Prejudice" means there as not a problem other than the need to administratively cancel the existing visa.
