I need the product key for windows 98 but I cannot find it. Is there any way to get it?

  1. download an illegal copy of it


  2. get a newer OS ? that's pretty obsolete. most new programs won't even work with it. like 99 %  

  3. Call HP if you have the receipts and credentials for the computer, you can always persuade a soft helpdesk employee to surrender a key if you have enough verification.

    Otherwise you'll have to find another, which is not doable anymore.
