I have an old Montreal Parking meter and there is still money in it and I want it open!!?

How do you suggest I break into a steel contraption made so that bums can't break into it? I've tried sawing it open and using an axe but none of it will break through the steel.

If you can't break into, with all your axes and stuff.. I doubt a

"bum" will.

take it to a local high school metal shop, and flip some senior five bucks to open it up with a plasma cutter. good luck

Maybe use something with heat, like a blow torch or something.  I have no idea if that would work, and you may also run the risk of destroying the money in the process.  

    You could also take it to a blacksmith, if they even have those anymore...

try a sledge hammer and maybe get the metal really cold so its more fragile and brittle
