I have an old RCA TV with one cable outlet in the back of it. My dad once connected a dvd player through my vcr to my tv. But both my old vcr and dvd player are now dead and I'm on my own. Now I'm left with an old TV, another VCR (That works) and a brand spanking new sony dvd player. Any help on how to connect my dvd player to my vcr to my one cable outlet on the back of my tv? Or would it just be more simple to buy an RF Modulator? Thanks in advance for any help! :o)

  1. The audio/video outputs (three RCA plugs, yellow, red and white) connect to the video or auxiliary input on your VCR. Yellow is the video, red and white are the audio stereo channels. If the VCR has only one audio input, try using the white one first.

There will be a button you press on the VCR to pass the signals from the DVD through to the TV set. A lot simpler and less clutter than buying a separate RF modulator.

Post again with the labels of the DVD outputs and the VCR inputs if this doesn't work or doesn't make sense.
