I have an old computer that runs windows ME. I hate this operating system and want a different one?

not possible...

need a cd burner and an image file to burn, so you could google ubuntu linux and order a free cd from there, takes 3-6 weeks but its worth it!!

If you're looking for a free Windows version you're out of luck, however, my husband who is a computer geek says if you want linux, there are plenty of free versions of those on the Internet.

i found a site before that lets you download windows xp with sp2, but I forgot what exactlt the site is, but when installing the os you downloaded, you should save it first on a cd to install it

but anyways try this one, i'm not sure if it's the site i downloaded my copy, but it should work 'coz i've downloaded some softwares here and works fine

I doubt your pc would run anything more than ME and it's just not worth upgrading. I know ME is a pain but seems like you're stuck with it.
