  1. depending on where you live on whether you can register it on the road but ull need a headlight with lo and high beam (just wire in a toggle to switch and in line to the hi beam wire an led for an indicator to know when the hi beam is on-required) then get a brake pressure switch to put in the brakeline and wire that to a tail light. have to have a tail light that brightens for brake usage.  blinkers are not required in most places (just that they work if they are on the bike.  you can get all of this cheap at a bike junk yard or someones junker sitting in there back yard or order out of aftermarket bike catalogs that most dealers have

  2. check baja designs, they should have everything you need.

  3. if its a dirt bike its alread good to go off road but u need a headlight, working taillight, and blinkers on front and back. then you can get a license plate then ur legal to go on the road always wear your helmet

  4. just trust me, sell that bike, save up more money, buy new(er) bike already meeting the requirements you're seeking.

by the time you get done paying everything in for the conversion, title and everything else, you'll of alread spent more then enough to of bought a new(er) bike...

if you don't got the money to just buy an enduro, you don't got the money to convert yours either. the only logical reason people do this is for those who just LOVE their dirt bike to death and have the money to throw away in getting it street legal...

for the average person it's just not practical.

  5. It's not as simple as you might think.

It requires a more powerful stator (alternator) a battery, wiring , switches , head and tail light and signals, additionally you'll need to get rid of the knobbies and put dual purpose tires on instead.

You'll then have to put a silencer/muffler on that meets your areas requirements

Then after you're done with all that , you'll have to get it inspected , and approved , apply for a license plate.

Even if you get a plate , good luck getting it insured ,it will be considered a "special construction" type of bike and insurance will cost you double.

Consider spending the time and money on getting a dual purpose, it's a way easier route.

  6. motosport or rocky mountain atv/mx have tons of parts for most bikes
