I have an old metal desk I need to get rid of. Do you know of a place I can submit it?

go to freecycle.org.  This is a website that allows you to offer up any unwanted materials to those who may have a use for them.  Just make sure that the items are things you really WANT to GIVE AWAY and that the items are in decent condition

If the condition is bad, you may also try craigs list and offer it as free for scrap material

Metal scrap yard or transfer station.

Take it to a charity.

Or host a yard sale and offer it in the sale.

Or you could take it to a junk yard.
