I have an old record player and i need HELP!?

Ok I have 2 record players 1 turn table which is a sonya that can play 8track cassets and records 33 331/2 78 45 and a much newer classic cd/cassete/radio/ record 33 and 45 but the sonya needs needle and thing neddle goes on to on the long stick thing phono cartridege?it still has the wires on the end of the stick and the newer one will not spin and wil not put the sound on the speakers unless i spin it my self and then its justgibberish if i spin it like regular with my finger u can only hear it bareley coming of the neddle itself i have treid but i can not find any information for both of them so i need some help the model number for the sonya is dxt 5250

  1. Ask your local used record store. In Seattle we have three shops that rebuild  turn tables

    The new one needs a new belt.


  2. check yer phone book for an electronics repair shop...the techs there might be able to look at yer turntables and order the parts you need for them to repair the 'tables for you...

    it might cost more than you think it will; but you can always have one 'table repaired at a time...
