  1. super 8 mm is motion picture film. you will need a projector and a modern video camera to either record on videotape, or better, run the AV cord to a DVD recorder.

    video8 is videotape, which works in a camcorder. first generation video8 camcorders did not playback, but if you have a more recent model, then use the AV cord to the DVD recorder.

    in either case the audio will be mono. normally pugging into just the LEFT input will cause the DVD to record mono.
