  1. Well I have worked on ALOT of Oldsmoblies, and the main culprit for coolant leaks were what they call an Upper Plenum on top of the intake. They leak alot on the driver side of the engine and coolant sits in a valley on the engine block. It is a somewhat expensive fix. I have changed about 75 upper plenums on oldsmoblies and the cost is usually around 475w/labor. It involves alot of things and takes about 4hrs to do. As for explaining it to you it takes alot of explaining and different torque specs you have to do so you wont crack it and there wont be any leaks..

Hopfully that helped.. If you live in Indiana I can fix it...

  2. Since Olds Mobile is discontinued you will have to go to mobil or another gas station i bealive it will cost one thousand dollars it will be hard to find it

  3. Sure, I can. Pressure test the system and block test it. Determine what is leaking and repair it. You can go to alldatadiy dot com and get step by step for repairs.

  4. that depends on where it is leaking at.

  5. it could be no more than a broken hose or the radiator leaking---have a garage look a it
