I have an original iPod nano, can it hold movies?

i can put the movies on my itunes and they'll play, but they won't show up on my ipod...

  2. Nope, that won't hold movies.  Sorry. Try the newer Ipod Nano that came out, that will hold it.

  3. Sure, it can hold movies. It can hold any file format you want it to. All an iPod is is an external flash drive with a computer running it.

    Now, it won't be able to play the movies, or any file format it doesn't understand, but that wasn't what was asked by the question, so the real answer is yes.

    It can hold them, it just won't know what to do with them.
