  1. Yes you can go buy the 45.00 manual or you can disassemble the head your self its easy just remember to cross your bolts tighten when you put it back on (like you would when you change a car tire).

    You can either buy the new gasket or you can use blue rv sealant or red sea lent available at NAPA the red is waterproof. Not many of the mechanics that visit this site will like my answer but it's the cheap way out, i have seen it done many times on different motors!

    Then when you have more time like during the winter you can do it the correct way.


  2. Jims has the right answer. Should not be a difficult repair, just take your time and follow the manual.


  3. You have a faulty water jacket gasket.  Are you handy?  Get a Seloc manual for that motor, and follow the procedure step by step, it's fairly easy.  You will need a torque wrench, don't guess.  Her's a link for the manual.
