  1. Try it yourself.  Go to someplace like a Radio Shack and ask the folks there what you need.  It usually involves attaching two wires to two screws on the aerial, running the wire into your house and attaching the other ends of the wires to two screws on the back of your tv.  If you don't have the screws then you may need a coaxial adaptor.  Be careful, though; the risky part is the danger of falling.

  2. You can do this yourself.  This is basic.

  3. You just plug it in.  You can buy everything you need at ASDA.

It can cost up to £100

  4. Look in the Yellow Pages using the word "Aerial". Run your finger down the entries and you will find a telephone number. Ring this number and they have the answer to your question.

  5. Connection involves sticking the end of the aerial into your tv set. You could save a lot of money by doint that yourself

Otherwise go to www.yell.co.uk and look under aerail installations

  6. Depends on what you mean by not connected?  Do you mean not connected to your tv/set top box, therefore all you will need is to plug the aerial in or buy a lead.  If you mean the cable is not connected to the aerial outside, then you may  need professional help especially if it on a chimney.

Just had a new aerial fitted last week.   These guys dont know what to charge.  Prices ranged from £70 to £180 for the same service.
