i have an overseas head hunters group from austraila that has contacted me what can you tell me about the group "career embassy" where can i go to find out how trustworthy this group really is? thank you

Ask them for references, at least five.

Also this link is the equivalent to the better business bureau in the States. They should have info if they are corrupt.

Are you worth around $250,000 per year in your job ?

Their website seems to indicate they specialise in that salary range.  They seem to say that they charge the employer ONLY $15,000 for their service.

If they are from an embassy contact that embassy and ask them. I know people are sent to try and recruit medical staff for Australia or certain careerers that australia is short of they may send someone overseas to promote coming here to live with your skills. I would be extremely careful here until you have really done some home work to these people. You would need to be very skilled at what you do to be sort after.
