I have an unbelievably skinny torso, HELP!?

I hate the size of my upper body i don't understand it i'm 16 and i eat or try to eat 3 meals a day and it still is very very very small, what is something I can do ot make it wider I seriously hate the way that I look because of it...

like seriously for a boy my age I think it looks unhealthy idk what the problem is...could bad poster affect it?

  1. Not bad posture, no.

    What you ought to do is to do push ups... and chin ups... try to firm u pthose muscles and perhaps get a bit of broadness in those shoulders... but really your body is just growing.. everybody looks a bit awkward during puberty.... but eventually you will fill out.

    I work out and eat 6 meals a day, by the way. Just small meals... spread evenly throughout the day so that my body always has the nutrients it needs when it needs them.... but not so much that it converts those to fat.  


  2. u r still going through puberty you are still growing .. my nephew was like you sort of very skinny torso .. he started going to the YMCA and working out and he built up some of his muscles .. i suggest that  ... first if you don't lift weights that work youre torso then i think you should start ..second eat as much seafood as you can because that is healthy fat and it has protein to help you build muscles .. and thirdly eat bread and potatoes and pasta as often as you can .. eat alot of it you will gain weight .. but you wont gain too much because you will be working out .. do you see?

  3. Maybe you have over active thyroid or metabolism that makes you so skinny. See your doctor. Usually when you get older, it slows down and you begin to put on weight. See your dr.  

  4. Eat Calcium, It helps make your bones bigger & stronger, so that more...shall I say "meat" can build on them. Also, working out helps so that you build muscle as well, making you there fore bigger.
