I have an unclean desk full of dust. Recently I found several bugs in there. Can anyone identify these bugs?

Long and hairy. About the size of half an average pinkie finger. Similiar to centipedes/milipedes

Without a picture its hard to figure what they could be.  Look up a picture of  a 'silver fish' and see if that is what it is.  If it is then there are bait traps for them in the store  They like glue, paste, book bindings and dust. They are very fast insects and especially like the dark. Good luck!
