I have an upgrade problem. My dvd player broke down.If i get a blu ray player will my regualer dvds play in it

I want to just use dvds not blu rays because i don t have any i will get some but i want dvds to work. My mom said that we might get the ps3 so that we can use the blu ray in it.

Not sure about backward compatibility on that. I would suspect there would need to be both drivers in the unit, which would cost more so I would guess they are left out, so... no. Just what I think. Check with the salesperson.
