it's a baby white tree frog female, and when I looked, I noticed it was sprawled on the ground upside down with it's legs spread out. I picked her up and tryied figuring out what the problem was but one thing I noticed was her stomache looked bloated. It was suck in and then all of a sudden it expanded all over again. I don't know why I would find my frog looking like that. Is it dying? is she giving birth? is she choking? is it's leg broken? I house it with another frog, and the other one is a male which i've had for about 2 years. maybe he got her impregnated and she's having birth pains or something? I honestly don't know. it's a baby and i'm really worried about her. :(

  1. If you bought this frog from a pet store, I suggest you take it back and ask them.  If you got it from the wild, then it is gonna die, cause it does not have the capability to survive in captivity.

If you are taking frogs from the wild, you need to stop.  It is illegal.  It is also very unnatural to keep any wild animal as a pet.  Every year in America millions of small wild animals die in captivity.  Usually suffering a long slow painful death.

Leave the wild to the wild.

  2. she might be dying.. but it could have mated with the other frog...take it to the vet
