  1. You should always carry some genes from the ME, but as far as MtDNA (X Chromosome) or Y Chromosome, it is probable the European DNA shows on both.  If a male produces only daughters, his (Y chromosome) DNA line disappears & if a female produces only sons, her (X chromosome) line disappears.  However, some genes are likely to survive but could only be identified by an indepth analysis of your DNA.

  2. some of it... but there will be some changes..  2000 years is a lot of time...and you will loose it as your ancestors with other races...

its not a geographical aspect but rather the mixing of different genes from another race

  3. It depends on which side of the family the ancestors are on. Ancestrial DNA is traced through the mitachondrial DNA for woman ( we only know the origin of our maternal ancestors ) The ancestrial DNA is traced through the Y-chromosome for men ( so you will only know the ancestry of the paternal line ) If the middle eastern ancestor is female, but you are a man.....her DNA will not show.....there must be a same-s*x direct line decent to see it in the DNA.

  4. You would have traces of both (presuming you also have European ancestors in the "Family tree" mix).

Half your genetic makeup comes from each s*x.  Current science may not be able to trace ALL the genetic markers just yet, but they will eventually.

  5. No DNA never dissolves. I am German and Persian. I have bright blonde hair, very pale skin, but very very dark eyes. Genes from your middle eastern side will always show up for generations to come. They never dissolve, they are permanently embedded in your DNA. However, it's great that you are mixed, since nature favors diversity.

  6. You still carry gentic markers going all the way back to that one women who lived 160,000 years ago that we are all related to.

  7. Most Europeans originated in the middle east at various times,  traced by language roots and DNA.

  8. Yes you still have all the DNA It is possible your kids may even show more of the DNA than you do. Your kid could look like your greatest grandpa or grandma

  9. Would it make a difference ?
