does it destroy your eye if you just look at the light it makes on the wall?

  1. No. But laser pointers are very dangerous if aimed directly toward the eye. Even weakest lasers have a brightness which is about 1000 times of the sun! Looking directly at a laser light source can cause severe burns in the fovea, which is the most sensitive part of the retina.


  2. No, of course not.

    The damage done by a laser is by the heat it creates. Looking at the light it makes on a wall isn't going to create any heat.

    Like shining a regular flashlight into your eyes, will make you see spots after for a few minutes, but you can look at the same light shone onto a wall all day and never see spots because of it.
