  1. >will l still able to record T.V programs on VHS tapes through?

Yes you will. The converter box will connect between your antenna and TV/VCR.

You set the channel you want to record on the converter box. If you have the converter connected to the antenna input on your TV/VCR, all you have to do is set the TV/VCR to either channel 3 or 4.

As far as your TV/VCR is concerned, the converter is acting like a small TV station transmitting on either analog channel 3 or 4.

  2. yeah, you are violating copyright though!

  3. Yep, I do this now.

just set video to AV {or AV1 or AV2 if its a dual scart jobbie}.

Mind u HDD and DVD recorders with free view for less than £100.

BT, SKY, Virgin give u free HDD recorded if u subscribe.

ITV and BBC launced HD freeview - not sure yet wot u need for that?

    Hope that helps.

Just have the "line out" from the DTV box go to your VCR,

and a "line out" from your VCR to your TV.

  5. Yes. you will be able. The signals wont effect the VCR recording whats on the television screen.
