My immigration status is L2 and I have a SSN.

Just let me know how will I know that any documents are required to mail or not. And If 'yes' what are the documents?

  1. Based on what you say, I'm assuming you filed form I-765 online.  Make sure that was the form number, or else what I say may not apply.

You should have a confirmation receipt notice that has an address to send your materials.  Most people need to to send the following: a copy of l-94 front and back, a copy of last EAD front and back, and two passport style photos.  I suggest double checking those documentation requirements by reading the instructions for i-765 here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-765ins...

Also, they will contact you to let you know when to schedule an appointment to get your fingerprints.  Expect to receive a "biometrics appointment notice" in the mail with instructions on how to make your appointment at a local Application Support Center.  When you go to your appointment, be sure to bring an ID and your appointment notice.

  2. Even though the I-765 has been completed electronically, the standard rules for the paper based form still apply in relation to initial or supporting evidence.

    From link below:

Initial Evidence and Supporting Documentation Required

You may need to provide documents that support your application. Please see the Instructions for the paper-based Form I-765.

Also see Submitting Supporting Documentation for additional information.
