I have applied for serveral jobs and all have had civil credit checks done, problems getting work?

i have applied for serveral jobs and each job they have conducted civil credit checks, what does that involve? i have an overdue credit card which i am slowly paying off and have had overdue speeding and e-tag fines i have paid but we long overdue, do these types of things come up in a civil credit check? if not, what types of thing would show up? i fear that this has somthing to do with not hearing from either employer. thanks.

The credit card stuff would definitely show up on a credit check. The speeding tickets and fines probably would too.

Some employers, like banks, would probably view those things as a deal breaker. Other employers might not.

You can either contact those employers and check on your application, or just move on and try to find other work.

If everyone with "bad" credit was prevented from working, the entire economy would collapse overnight.
